Recent ActivityOur first Culture Day Blowing Rock School's First Culture DayOn December 3, 2009, Blowing Rock School was privileged to welcome a number of guests from other countries, many of whom had affiliations with Appalachian State University. These guests gave a view of their country and culture to students in small classroom settings and answered questions from the students. What a wonderful educational experience for the students. Guests came from Denmark, Pakistan, China, South Africa, Azerbaijan and more. This event was inspired by and organized by our new 3rd grade teacher Susan Walker. Thank you Ms. Walker!
